Angelo Sciortino has Formal Education and Hands-on Experience

A financial professional and resident of Bethpage, NY, Angelo Sciortino most recently served as an executive assistant at Ebco International, Inc., an insurance firm in Westbury, NY. Holding this position for nearly two years, he was responsible for such things as composing business correspondence and updating client records. He also reviewed new submissions from clients, created spreadsheets showcasing gains and losses for the company, and designed effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance policies. Prior to this role, Angelo Sciortino worked as an attorney intern at the real estate title company Island Abstract, Inc., and handled everything from maintaining archives to attorney calendars.

Mr. Sciortino gained this hands-on experience while studying at the University at Albany. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and double-majored in management and financial market regulation. While in school, he was included on the Dean’s List several times and earned the Sheri Stevens Community & Public Service Award.

At college, Mr. Sciortino belonged to the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Society, the Gamma Sigma Alpha Honor Society, and served as assistant treasurer for the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He also spent several years as an active member of the Albany Business Leaders Emerging group.
